Data Acquisition Analyst

Data Acquisition Analyst As responsible for the technical implementation of the Portfolio, the Data Acquisition Analyst- Coordinates the allocation of projects/studies/work across the different analysts working on the portfolio, creation of studies in development (creation of Oracle schema, specific tables, fields, lists of values).- Oversees specifications, programming and validation of the specific programming in his/her projects (including active participation).- Reports project and studies progress&plan to management.- Leads a team of programmers, co-located or remotely localized, allocated to the different projects/studies across the portfolio.- Supervises the daily activities performed by a team of outsourced programmers for his/her portfolio.With CRO· Interaction with SSPs at CRO for study level: setting up of expectations, delivery plan (milestones planning) and following up to ensure the same is done to deliver on time• In CRO Governance: base level liasion• Oversight of the CRO at Study level: Quality, Timelines, Resource estimation and overall accountability for deliveries• Liasion for audits / inspections related to DM topics• Flagging any resource constraints to Data Acquisition ManagerDesired Skills and Expertise· Master or equivalent experience in Engineering, Scientific or Computer.· Understanding of the complexity of clinical studies and their impact on data management;· Consulting and advisory role to all clinical and epidemiological portfolios on the feasibility and impact of technical decisions.· Interaction at the portfolio level of the organisation.· Management of a remote team of programmers.· 5 to 7 years in Clinical Data Management (technical experience).· Experience of technical aspects of the function(s) is required to manager internal staff as well as outsourced activities.· Need to master ICH/GCPs, FDA regulations and other applicable requirements.· ICH/GCPs· SAS Base/SAS Macros· SQL· Business understanding· Excellent organizational and planning skills, analytical mind· Good communication skills· Fluent in English
